Full-Stack Iris Technology

HOMSH is one of the very few companies globally that controls the entire iris recognition technology stack — from the core algorithm to the silicon chip to the finished hardware to the management software platform.

PhaseIris Algorithm

Proprietary phase-based iris recognition algorithm with 273+ patents. FAR below 10^-7, FRR below 0.5%. Optimized for hardware-level execution.

Qianxin FPGA Chip

Custom-designed FPGA chip for iris workloads. Performs 1 million+ comparisons per second, AES-256 encryption, and liveness detection at the silicon level.

Hardware Product Line

From compact USB modules (MC20, MD20) to access control terminals (D30, D60) to server-grade matching systems. All designed and manufactured in-house.

Software Platform

Complete iris management platform including enrollment, matching, access control, event logging, and multi-site synchronization. SDKs for Windows, Linux, and Android.

Most iris recognition vendors license third-party algorithms or purchase OEM modules. HOMSH's vertical integration means faster innovation, tighter security, and lower total cost for customers.

Proven Track Record

Founded in 2009, HOMSH has over 15 years of continuous focus exclusively on iris recognition. Our systems are deployed in 50+ countries across critical infrastructure where failure is not an option.

Border Control & Immigration

National e-gate systems and border checkpoints processing millions of crossings. Deployed across Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.

Banking & Finance

ATM authentication, vault access, and high-value transaction verification for financial institutions requiring the highest biometric security.

Mining & Construction

Site access control in harsh environments where fingerprints fail. Dust, moisture, and heavy gloves make iris the only reliable biometric.

Airports & Aviation

Passenger identity verification at security checkpoints and boarding gates. Fast, contactless processing for high-throughput environments.

Government & Defense

Classified facility access, national ID enrollment, and military personnel management requiring the highest accuracy and tamper resistance.

Prisons & Corrections

Inmate identification and staff access control. Iris recognition cannot be defeated by altered fingerprints or plastic surgery.

Accuracy That Matters

In biometrics, accuracy is not a marketing claim — it is a measurable, auditable metric. HOMSH's systems are tested and certified to national and international standards.

HOMSH's PhaseIris algorithm is certified to GB/T20979-2019, China's national standard for iris recognition system performance. All metrics are independently verifiable, not self-reported estimates.

4

Hardware-Level Security

Software-only biometric systems are vulnerable to interception, tampering, and replay attacks. HOMSH embeds security at the hardware level — in the chip itself.

On-Chip Liveness Detection

Presentation attack detection runs directly on the Qianxin FPGA, not in software that could be bypassed. Pupil dilation, micro-saccades, and NIR reflection analysis happen before any template leaves the device.

Front-End Encryption

AES-256 encryption is performed at the chip level the moment a template is generated. Raw iris data never exists in unencrypted form outside the sensor module, eliminating the attack surface between capture and storage.

Offline-First Architecture

All matching and authentication runs locally on-device with zero network dependency. No cloud, no API calls, no data leaving the premises. This eliminates network-based attack vectors and ensures operation in air-gapped environments.

Tamper-Resistant Storage

Enrolled templates are stored in hardware-encrypted, tamper-resistant memory. Physical extraction of the storage medium yields only encrypted data that cannot be decrypted without the hardware security module.
